Hock Handmade Plane Irons are made in a small metalworking cottage-industry located in the heart of California’s Mendocino County’s woodworking enclave. These irons are hand crafted to exacting specifications to satisfy the needs of the most discriminating professional. Irons for Wooden Body Planes were developed in collaboration with the faculty and staff at James Krenov’s Fine-Woodworking studio. 3- 1/2″ long by 3/16″ thick, they will not deflect or chatter under the toughest use and come complete with chip-breaker and assembly-screw. The Radius Edge is for hollowing and spoon bottom planes.
