Description

The thick leather binding on these shears absorbs moisture from the hand in use and, combined with the ergonomic curve of the handles, makes these pruning shears exceptionally comfortable to hold. These hand forged, professional-quality shears are not of laminated steel, but of YC3S-Steel, which permits the blades to be hardened to 63 on the HRC scale. Each shear requires more than 100 steps to complete.

Designed for flowers and small branches, these shears are also very well suited to harvesting fruits such as apples or wine grapes, anything up to a branch thickness of 5 mm!

Unlike lower quality shears, the two halves of the shears are fastened together by a nut and bolt assembly to allow the user to tighten the shears should they ever become loose. A locking lever at the bottom of these pruning shears keeps the blades closed when not in use for added safety.

Includes a replacement spring and instructions for sharpening.
