Description
Why trust the operation of your Incra Miter Gauge or Miter Slider in just any miter track. The Miter Channel was designed with the same Incra quality and precision to act as the perfect guide for all of your miter needs. Each channel is constructed of hard anodized aluminum for durability with Incra’s trademark gold finish. Mounting is easy with pre-drilled holes and included fasteners; simply cut a 1-1/8″ wide, 1/2″ deep groove in your table. Create a laminated fixture using 1/2″ thick material on either side of the channel. The ?T-Slot? design can be used in conjunction with hold-downs. Will work with any standard 3/8? x 3/4? miter bar.

Can you please clarify how this works with existing miter channels – i.e. I have a table saw that I am mounting on a work bench and would like to extend the miter channel from the edge of the table saw into the bench top. Does this channel fit inside a standard miter channel so that one can use a miter bar across both surfaces for sliding custom jigs across both or will this not work?
The dimensions are stated in imperial measurement, will the 1/2″ depth suit 16mm MDF well, or will there be a slight difference in elevation?

Good day Jacques, please note that this item can not be fitted onto your current miter channel. You would have to route the 28.6mm wide, 12.7mm deep groove on your board. 16mm board should be okay, we would however recommend 19mm board instead.
