Product Description
The patented automatic self-centering action of these jigs assures accurate center drilling every time, even on round objects. Large steel clamping screw tightens the tool like a vise, with rugged aluminum sides holding work securely without damage to the wood. Large 2″ to 2-7/16″ capacity on all models will handle most size requirements. Drill guide centers are hardened, guide holes are precision drilled and reamed for extreme accuracy. USA.
The Deluxe Doweling Jig features two permanent drill hole sizes: 7/16″ and 1/2″ and six removable screw-in bushings for extra hole patterns. Bushing sizes are 1/4″, 5/16″, 3/8″ (two of each). Allows drilling of two holes of the same size parallel to one another for double dowel applications on a 3/4″ center to center space.

In one word – Amazing !!!. Just in the weight alone, one can feel this is top of the shelf kit. With the various sizes and vise to align, it not only perfectly lines the jig up but on more extremely important fact is, there is no tear-out around the drilled hole. I’m a tough person to please when it comes to quality tools ( i kind of live by the motto of “buy once, cry once”) but this is just next-level tooling from Task. I give this a 5 out of 5
