Expand the versatility of your lathe and mount your workpieces quicker and easier with the self-centering 4-jaw chuck. You’ll appreciate the following features: wide range of jaw movement, quick action and a powerful grip in either expansion or contraction modes. Jaws will expand and grip in a 2-3″ dovetailed recess in the base of your turning. Simply rotate the chuck’s outer ring in the opposite direction to firmly hold round stock between 1-5/8″ and 2-3/4″ or square billets 1-1/8″ to 2-1/8″ in size. No disassembly or accessories are required to use the accompanying screw chuck, which has a 1-1/8″ long right hand thread. Chuck body is chrome-plated to protect against corrosion while the jaws are anodized black. Comes complete with screw center, locking levers, T-handled hex wrench for jaw screws and 8 extra jaw screws. Everything is secure in a fitted plastic storage/carrying case.
