Greetings fellow woodworkers and Festool Fanatics,
I recently took delivery of my PDC 18/4 , and the opportunity to put it through it’d paces arrived on the week end. a friend asked me to help with a wooden fence.
The PDC 18/4 made short work of drilling all the required 10mm counterbore holes and all of the screwing ( Kreg 50mm screws), it did all of this with a single battery and still has about half charge in the battery , about 150 holes and 150 screws, the convenience of the quick change ability using the “Centrotec” ability of the machine was a great help as changing from drill to screw driver was very quick.
It is without any hesitation that I recommend that if you are looking for a Drill/Driver that is up to anything you can throw at it , then this is the machine for you, my various green, blue and other colour machine’s will soon find new homes. The Festool range of drill/drivers is more than adequate for all my needs. In my opinion, this is truly “money well spent” and worth every cent.
