Expand the versatility of your lathe and mount your work pieces quicker and easier with the self-centering 4-jaw chuck. Simply rotate the chuck’s outer ring in the opposite direction to firmly hold round stock between 1-5/8″ and 2-3/4″ or square billets 1-1/8″ to 2-1/8″ in size. No disassembly or accessories are required to use the accompanying screw chuck, which has a 1-1/8″ long right hand thread. Chuck body is chrome-plated to protect against corrosion while the jaws are anodized black. Comes complete with screw center, locking levers, T-handled hex wrench for jaw screws and 8 extra jaw screws, all in a fitted plastic storage/carrying case. Threaded Inserts are available for those who want to use the same chuck on lathes with different thread patterns. Large Flat Jaws make it easy to finish the bottom of plates and bowls. Grips outer edge of stock from 1-7/8″ to 8″ in diameter.
