Our Japanese Carpenters Hammers have unique features desired by the professional. They are forged from high quality tool steel and carefully, tempered for long life. The head is angled to the handle for superior balance and reduced fatigue during use. The nose is elongated providing a deeper reach, a feature appreciated when driving toe-nails. Unlike Western style framing hammers, our hammer heads have a milled face to allow the side of the hammer to be used in tight situations, such as between studs. The face is carefully crowned to reduce slippage and bent nails. The hammer claws have the same unique tines and nail pulling features as do our Tiger Claws.
