9 Easy steps how to use this 2 Glass Oval Wine Caddy acrylic router template:

• • 1. Place the template over your material (usually wood or wood epoxy resin).
    2. Trace the shape of the template onto your piece.
    3. Using a jig saw, scroll saw or a band saw (where appropriate) cut out the rough shape you traced onto your material, leaving between 3-5mm outside of the traced line.
    4. Securely attach the router template to your material using two double sided tape or hot glue.
    5. Install your appropriately sized flush trim bit into the router in your router table making sure that the router bit has a blade long enough for the height of your material.
    6. Line up the bearing of your router bit with the template making sure that the bearing is centred on the edge of the template.
    7. Turn on your router and glide the template along the bearing of your router bit.
    8. Carefully remove the template from your material, using a scraper.
    9. Remove the double sided tape or hot glue from the template by hand or using a adhesive remover like GOO GONE for any stubborn or sticky residue and sand off any leftover residue off of your project.

What router bit should I use with this acrylic router template?

Any flush trim router bit with a guide bearing will work however, we recommend a flush trim bit with a 1/8″ or 1/4″ inch diameter.

What drill bit should I use with this acrylic router template?

A 20mm forstner bit can be used to cleanly “cutout” the 2 holes for the glasses and a 35mm forstner bit for the centre hole where the wine bottle neck goes through.
