Description

These chisels are made for heavy duty carpentry work. Many firmer chisels have 90 degree edges to give them added strength. The laminated steel forging process makes it possible to bevel the edges to allow work in tight spaces without sacrificing strength.

Made from laminated Steel, were the cutting edge is hard high carbon steel, laminated onto a softer body. They have the typical hallow ground back of the plane. These planes are constructed with the hybrid socket and tang construction, were the tang extends into the handle.
