Our Long Rabbet Plane is made from select quality Rosewood fully aged and dried. The blades is forged from carbon steel tempered to Rockwell c61 and is bedded in the body at 45?. For best performance it should be honed prior to use. Made in the popular Hong Kong Style, it does not have a Western equivalent. The sweeping contour of the plane top makes it easy to hold and use, and its long length adds accuracy to your work. It is 15-3/4″ x 3/4″ with a 3/4″ wide blade.
