This tool is equipped with high-quality cobalt alloy bi-metal hole saws, allowing users to drill precise holes through various materials, including solid and hollow core doors. Its stepped drill guide bushing minimises wear and tear, ensuring the jig’s durability over time. With adjustable settings, the LockMate™ accommodates standard door thicknesses and backset sizes, making it universally compatible with most lock and knob hardware. The included extra-long pilot bit reduces tear-out by creating a guide hole that ensures a smooth and accurate finish from both sides of the door.
