The palm side of the glove is covered with a synthetic leather to ensure a better grip when using tools. It also protects skin from forming calluses or blisters. The back-side of the gloves are covered with spandex material.

These gloves are great – they don’t get in the way of getting stuff done. They fit nice and tight, so there’s less risk of getting caught on edges. My only gripe would be the fact that they don’t last very well (I’d give it 5 stars otherwise) – maybe a genuine raw hide version to replace the synthetic leather will last better; even so, I bought a second pair and will buy again once those fail.
