I hesitated for some time before buying my Makita trimmer, but now that I have it I wonder how I managed without it. It is beautifully constructed, solid and powerful. My big router now barely leaves the router table and this guy works a lot. I made a bigger perspex baseplate for mine and that has extended it’s capabilities considerably. Worth every cent.
PS There is also an 8mm collect available for these which I found useful. Costs less that R100.
