Description
In the old days, decorative beads could be applied to the front of a drawer, cabinet or door with a tool called a Scratch Stock. This involved a wooden handle and fence with the means to hold a profiled steel blade which, when drawn across wood such as a drawer front, created the desired profile. Working closely with blade maker Ron Hock, we are proud to introduce his modern adaptation made from high quality bamboo plywood and spring steel blades. The Hock Scratch Tool can be used on flat or curved surfaces and includes two blades, one with a precut profile to get you started. Extra blades, sold separately as a pack of four, can be used as replacements or for creating your own profiles. Blades are approximately 3/4″ wide, 1-3/4″ long, and 0.05″ thick. Comes with complete instructions for setup and use.
