Description
CNC BASIX – Ball Screw CNC Machines with DDCS Controllers.
The CNC BASIX – Ball Screw CNC Machine with DDCS Controller is designed for high workloads, delivering accuracy and reliability during extended cutting sessions. This machine is ideal for cutting a variety of materials, including aluminium, perspex, and wood, and is equipped with a powerful DDCS stand-alone controller that operates without the need for a computer connection. G-code files are run directly from a USB memory stick (included).
Built with a robust aluminium frame and steel front and back panels, this machine is highly durable. The X and Y axes feature HGR15 linear rails and SFU1605 ball screws for precise movement, while the Z-axis is managed by a T8 lead screw and HGR15 linear rails. The Makita RT0700C 700W router provides manual speed control from 12,000 RPM to 30,000 RPM, making it adaptable for different cutting needs. The machine offers a maximum feed rate of 1,000 mm/min and a maximum jog rate of 2,000 mm/min for efficient operation.
Additionally, the machine can be customized with various upgrades, including servo motors, spindle kits (1.5kW to 2.2kW, air-cooled or water-cooled), and lasers, enabling you to tailor the machine to your specific requirements.
