Description

Many woodworkers prefer a chisel hammer with a “fat”, barrel shape. This concentrates the mass of the hammer head closer to the center line of the handle, which gives greater control. The heads are forged from the best quality tool steel, carefully hand shaped and specially tempered, so that they are soft on the inside and hard on the outside. This type of tempering reduces hammer head “bounce”, thus imparting a greater portion of the blow to the chisel. The handles are made from Kashi (Japanese White Oak). Overall length: 13˝.
