Not gonna talk about how handy this is as any tape measure is beyond handy in any workshop.
What I will say is this 5M Stanley Tylon one is very robust, durable and the right size (in my opinion) – not too large or small.
The areas that are black (other than the lock latch) is a form of hard rubber so no worries about cracking this bad boy.
This may be a side point for some of you but for me was an added plus – the actual tape has a Tylon (matt) finish so will not give you issues with glare / reflection when trying to read measurements outside or even indoors.
The “True-Zero-Hook” is actually quite accurate giving you the ability to measure inner and outer measurements with ease and accuracy.
I have bought multiple of these measuring tapes and have never regretted it.
Summary: Great value for money, durable and reliable.
