I bought this today, it works pretty well vs hand sharpening. The only negative is that the wheel at the rear is pretty narrow so it is easy to tilt the honing guide. . Sufficient care must be taken to ensure the wheel is flat on the stone.

Bought this together with a friend on his account, and we are both pleased with the results this guide provides. Really like the way that it caters for both smaller chisels and the bigger 35mm chisels.

A great guide. Helped me sharpen my plane blade to the correct angle as the manufacturer angle was off and skew. Feels solid and the hardened wheel should last a long time.

Hi – Looking at the price, I feel it necessary to ask if this is indeed a Wood River product or one that is merely marketed as such? I also do not see any Wood River branding on the guide. Thanks… John S.
