Description

The Wilderness Hatchet is basically the same axe as the Buddy, but with a longer handle, and it is also suitable for woodcarving or to use in place of a large knife. Thanks to the shape of the head, it also is functional for splitting smaller chunks of wood in front of your hearth. Its compact design and light weight make it easy to carry ? in your belt, in the backpack or your toolbox. The hatchet blade is hand-forged Swedish carbon specially alloyed steel with an HRC57 edge hardness, and the handle is American hickory. Hatchet comes with a vegetable tanned, locally produced, leather sheath and a 20-year warranty. Approximately 1 lb., 12 oz. total weight; 13″ overall length with a 2-3/4″ face. Made in Sweden.
