Our Waterstone Files are used for sharpening and polishing small carving tools and deburring small parts. Four different styles with curved and triangular edges are included in each set. Any file can be easily altered to fit your particular need. Measuring 2-1/2″ x 1″ x 1/4″, these slips are small enough to sharpen the narrowest gouges, chisels, and V-tool profiles, yet thick enough to last for years. Each grit set contains 4 different styles; the 12 piece set (Woodcraft #140567) contains all three grit sets. 1000 grit is for general sharpening, the 4000 for final honing, and the 8000 for a brilliant polished, razor?s edge.
