Liberon Fine Wood Stripper is a powerful yet gentle solution designed to remove old paint and varnish from wood and metal surfaces. Its non-drip gel formulation is free from methylene chloride, making it safe to use on fragile surfaces without requiring heavy scraping. Ideal for vertical surfaces, this stripper clings to the surface and works within five to 30 minutes, making the process quick and efficient. It provides a fast, effective way to strip away old finishes, preparing the surface for a new coat.

How To Use:

Application:

1. Shake well before use.
2. Apply a generous coat of Fine Wood Stripper using a brush.
3. Allow the stripper to work for five to 30 minutes.
4. Remove the dissolved finish using a Plastic Scraper or Steel Wool (Grade 2/0) for carved areas.
5. If necessary, repeat the process to remove more than one finish.
6. Neutralise the timber by cleaning with Wax and Polish Remover or white spirit.
7. Leave to dry for 24 hours and then rub down gently using Ultra Fine Steel Wool (Grade 0000) or extra fine sandpaper.
8. The surface is now ready for a new finish.

Important:

• Always test the product on a spare surface or inconspicuous area for colour, compatibility and end result.
