Excellent saw, great build quality and very accurate out of the box.

It’s a good blade but it dulled rather quickly. Still gets the job done though.

Had a chance to use the new plunge saw today. I had two specific jobs in mind for this, the first was to cut a panel out of my assembly table to drop my table saw in, and the latter was to rip down sheets of plywood, MDF etc. The saw cuts nicely and delivers well, but I think the sheet ripping exercise will likely go better than the plunge panel cut. I added two permanent marks on the side of the saw to mark where it cuts from and to, these would have been easier to add on the plate by the manufacturer. I cut through the wood panel but having structural timbers below made the job worse – having a sabre saw now seems essential for these type of jobs. The size of the blade being 115 mm also means there was a significant radius to the cut and there are limited clamp down options with the supplied clamps not offering too much help. I think all in all the saw works as expected, but helps more as a sheet rip down tool than for a proper plunge activity. If you are plunging into thin stock you should be fine but I think anything over 10 mm you will have difficulty. Another thing to mention is that you can get extra track if the 1m supplied is insufficient. This is a bit of a process, and the supplied tracks were full 1 metre tracks instead of 3 x 330 mm pieces but the price from T4W was lower than ordering direct from the OEM.

I wanted to review the stand separate from the mitre saw combo which I bought. This is really useful stand and something I would rather be promoting as a universal stand instead of just as a Mitre Saw stand. I am keen to find other tools that I can mount on this especially when having to work outside. It is compact when not in use, lightweight and very easy to setup. There might be a bit of an accessibility issue with some of the bolts when the saw is wider than the actual stand but fortunately it is very easy to move things around.

This is a pretty decent mitre saw, and for the price I think it is well worth it. I had an issue with the laser guide within the first week of receiving and using the saw, but the guys came from Midrand to troubleshoot and replaced the whole mitre saw on the spot! Well done – this is great customer service and probably something I am not likely to get on all brands! I specifically like the stand and will look to review it specifically as well. It is very sturdy and easy to move around and set up. I wish there was more Toni tools that I could buy to use on this. I asked about their lathe as it seemed an obvious choice and something missing in my workshop but they said their are current problems with their lathes that will be fixed in future.

I build a fridge into my caravan and this machine assisted a lot to cut out panels and to fit new ones. Now I am using it to fit new kitchen cupboards. I can recommend it , it is every penny worth.

Just used this bit, drilled out a hole 150mm in length in pine. Perfect hole and straight. Bit is extremly sharp

Excellent quality, feels solid, unfortunately the handle on one of my clamps is a bit bent so it doesnt turn smoothly but the clamp itself is still usable, other than that, highly recommended

Very sturdy T Square. All they need to do is to ensure a label that does not damage the markings when peeled off.

Very good clamping set, good gripping force.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this unit. It is probably what it states, a “Contractor Table Saw”. The build quality is bad; cheap materials and not much fine-tuning capablities. Don’t expect accurate and clean cuts.
I know, because I ordered one and upon unpacking it, realised that this is not going to work for me. I sent it back and at least got a great deal on a Bosch GTX-10SC, which is a MUCH better table saw.

I’m updating my review as someone informed me that one needs to sand the metal bar with a high grit sandpaper in order to maintain the grip of the clamping plates or whatever it is called. The clamping pressure is much better than it was brand new, no slipping.

I received this “Glue Roller” which was imported in good time for me. Tools 4 Wood kept me up to date all the time which instils loads of confidence.

I put my glue into the bottle and secured the roller, very easy to do. I was wanting to glue up an end grain cutting board 550 mm x 700 mm

I applied the glue, it went on evenly and the coverage was perfect. I joined the timber with little waste and clean up required.

Having poured from the glue bottle and then spread with a stick I can say that this is the way to go with the glue bottle.

Definitely louder than 47db as advertised on box, but if using in a room with the door closed it’s barely audible outside. Reaches about 20psi when using with an airbrush. For the price, very good value, especially to come with a water trap and tank.

This will probably become the drill/driver i reach for most, its small and compact and has torque to spare, the speed control trigger offers perfect control and the torque settings can be set up to suite any screw, the build quality and feel is as expected very high end, the rachet chuck grips a bit very well, the battery indicator is on the tool itself and its a three level indicator and activates with trigger press and it auto sleeps, the led light comes on automatically with trigger press and can be activated without the tool rotating with a gentle trigger press this is good when you first need to find the screw head or marked hole places it is the perfect mini drill/driver.
