Great clamping pressure… albeit for a short while. I got two & have been using one for repeated clamping of workpieces to a bench and the clamp now slips. I can only assume it is due to the coating on the metal bar fixture that wears down due to repeated use.

I’m updating my review as someone informed me that one needs to sand the metal bar with a high grit sandpaper in order to maintain the grip of the clamping plates or whatever it is called. The clamping pressure is much better than it was brand new, no slipping.
