Brawn meets brains:

Festool has combined EC-TEC motor technology with intelligent motor management and thereby developed it further. The brushless EC-TEC motor is wear-free and converts the energy from the battery into power with virtually no loss. This means that the T 18 3 offers an extremely high degree of efficiency in its performance class. The electronic motor management also guarantees a longer service life: Microprocessors monitor and control the temperature, voltage and current consumption of the motor, electronics and battery.

Work comfortably:

The light, compact T-design, the slender SoftGrip handle and the perfectly located centre of gravity ensure that work goes easily and smoothly.

Compact and effective:

The torque adjustment and cut-out is integrated in the patented compact gear mechanism, saving space and achieving maximum transfer of force.

Ideal for tight spaces:

As with all cordless drills from Festool, the bits can also be inserted in the direct bit holder of the spindle on the T 18 3.

Six bits always to hand:

The practical bit holder provides space for up to six bits – magnetically secured against falling out.

In the smallest of spaces:

The angle attachment is perfect for work around corners and reaching concealed screws at tight angles.

Living on the edge:

Every screw can be reached with the eccentric adapter.

CENTROTEC quick-change system:

Fast change between drilling, countersinking and screwdriving: The CENTROTEC quick-change system is a chuck and bit holder in one and, at the same time, 50% smaller and 80% lighter than a standard drill chuck. The hexagonal tools are centred using balls – for optimised power transmission and ten times higher true running.

Chuck for standard tools:

The chuck with a standard width of up to 13 mm also enables the use of all standard bits and drill bits. Tool-free mounting via the FastFix interface.

Optimum power performance:

Fully electronic torque adjustment and shut-off for optimum power development in all situations. The torque setting for screwdriving is retained, even when drilling takes place at maximum torque.

Make a show of power, not amp-hours:

The new Festool Li-ion 5.2 Ah battery pack with AIRSTREAM. The new AIRSTREAM technology guarantees faster re-use of battery packs and thus guarantees interruption-free work – even for energy-intensive applications such as sawing. This is because the new battery packs have an integrated cooling duct, thanks to which the cooling time and, as a result, the entire charging process can be reduced by up to 65% in combination with the new SCA 8 rapid charger. Furthermore, they are extremely robust with an integrated rubber frame to protect the workpiece and the battery pack and, thanks to the charge indicator, you can always clearly see how much charge is left in the battery.
