Powerful 2400W / 3-1/4hp electronically controlled motor. Single spanner ‘above table’ cutter changing. Automatic shaft lock and power lock-off during cutter change mode. Fast plunge depth adjustment with winder handle and fine depth adjustment with micro winder. Quick switching to conventional plunge mode. Removable plunge spring for easy lifting and adjustment. Effective dust port.

With Vermont not doing distribution of Triton anymore who will provide backing for warranties and spares on these routers?

Good day Meinhard, please note that although Vermont does not supply Triton products any longer, they will still be able to provide servicing and repairs for tools which are still under warranty.
Good Day, i want to find out what bace configuration does this have, universal or Brand specific, as i will be getting a router table in future, so need to check if it will fit to standard/ universal tables, Eduan
HI Eduan, usually its brand specific but will also depend on the router table insert plate and fittings of the router table you intend to purchase. We would recommend that you have a look at the Triton TWX7 Workcentre with Router Module Insert (link below), this will prevent any compatibly issues. The rule of thumb would be to stick with the same brand of accessories for the power tool you have.

Ok so this amchine has the capability to do virtually any sort of routing needed. the difficulty is that I find its too powerful for hand use, meaning its better when paired to the Router Table. I have found that together, speed, effeiciency and precision of cut absolutely excuisite

I agree with the comment above, this tool is too heavy and powerful hand use, for this reason it is permanently mounted in my router table.
But in the table it works effortlessly and will perform any type of routing

I bought this machine to be used in a router table and I cannot fault it at all. Massive amount of power and the ability to make accurate height adjustments from above the table with the included height winder mechanism is fantastic. Didn’t have to spend big money for something that is already incorporated in its design. Great machine.
