The Dremel DSM20 is the ultimate compact saw with an excellent line of sight. With its clear line of sight, powerful motor and use of abrasive wheels, this saw can easily perform precise straight, plunge and flush cuts in materials up to 20mm thick. The product comes with a wide variety of non-intimidating abrasive cutting wheels, which in combination with the dust extraction port allows for clean and accurate work in wood, metal, plastics, stoneware and tiles. This kit includes three attachments which help to enhance the cutting capabilities of the Dremel DSM20. Cutting parallel to the edge of the work is simple with the edge guide, while the 2×4 cutting guide can be used to quickly and accuratelly make cuts in 2×4 timber. I bought this tool to create fake table tops for my photography from pallet wood. Very powerful but easy to handle taking into account I have never worked with a saw. One of my favourite Dremel tools and one I highly recommend.

I agree. A very useful tool to have with fine edge cutting blade and minimal waste. The oscillating level allows multi use cutting. The only negative is the safety – the blade is constantly exposed and the safety trigger and switch when pushed, tends to kick or reverberate the machine in ones hand. A machine that needs to be carefully used, and if so, can be used for years

I build a fridge into my caravan and this machine assisted a lot to cut out panels and to fit new ones. Now I am using it to fit new kitchen cupboards. I can recommend it , it is every penny worth.
