I have quite a few of these clamps in my growing collection and they work really well. I typically use them to hold boards down during operations (routing, chiseling etc.), but they work equally well in small glue ups. All the metal parts have a solid feel and the handle is made out of wood. On the downside it is possible for the ribbed bar (the silver part of the clamp) to pop out of the upper section. That, however, is not unique to this specific clamp and I have had exactly the same thing happen with other brands where the parts are also not pinned together (through the bar). A small amount of epoxy has sorted out the problem for a fraction of the cost of the higher end clamps. Definitely a value for money purchase and I will add more of these to my collection.
