These rulers are great, when you need to be very accurate. Tape measures have play and can be out by as much as 5 mm if they get worn out.

This is good value for money. I really appreciate the extra width the ruler offers. The flat rear edge allows the ruler to stand upright, making it work great as a straight edge. Just don’t bump it too hard, the aluminium dents easily.
